I've been reading a lot in my devotions about adversity and how God uses it in our lives. I love the way God tends to teach me about a topic from several different sources and viewpoints, and I read this blog yesterday that dealt with this same topic in a timely, thoughtful manner. The writer is Beth Moore's daughter, Amanda, who writes often about her role as a mother and pastor's wife. It's worth your time to click over and read her perspective--you will be blessed.
In other news, Baby and I are doing well and still behaving ourselves. I had a slew of great visitors yesterday, which made my day go quickly. I am also looking forward to Jason and Harper coming for a visit tonight, and then it's the weekend! Harper is staying at Jason's brother and sister-in-law's house tonight after her visit and playing with her cousins and their dog Charlie (she calls him the "oof oof") tomorrow. I apologize in advance to Charlie. :)
